

At Sleepwell Bedding we stand behind the comfort and workmanship of our locally made mattresses. This page explains warranty coverage, our one-time Comfort Adjustment Guarantee, how to file a claim, care instructions, and what happens if a mattress is non-repairable.

Comfort Adjustment Guarantee
If after two weeks of regular use your mattress feels too soft or too firm, we will perform a one-time comfort adjustment free of charge.
• Bring the mattress clean and dry to our Winnipeg shop.
• Adjustment performed by our production team; designed to preserve the mattress structure.
• One adjustment per mattress purchase. Pickup/delivery available for an additional fee if required.
Warranty Coverage (full details)
Sleepwell provides a prorated manufacturer’s warranty covering manufacturing and structural defects.
Covered defects include:
• Broken or loosened springs
• Side stitching coming undone
• Structural squeaks attributable to internal components
• Sagging of ¾ inch (0.75 in / ~19 mm) or more due to structural failure
If the mattress cannot be repaired: you will receive prorated store credit (see section below for formula and example).

When you contact us please include:
1. Copy/photo of the original receipt (must be Sleepwell or authorized retailer).
2. Photo set:
• Full mattress (from a short distance)
• Close-up of the defect or indentation
• Photo of the mattress tag/label (tag must be attached)
• Photo of the base/support system (slats/platform/box spring)
3. Short description (what’s wrong, when it started).
4. Contact phone and delivery address.
What we do next:
• We will acknowledge receipt of your claim within 24 hours.
• If the issue appears eligible, we will request that you drop off the mattress at our Winnipeg location at a convenient time.
• Repairs are typically completed within 1–2 business days after drop-off (subject to parts availability).
• If the mattress is unrepairable we will calculate and issue prorated store credit.
Transport & fees:
• Customers are responsible for transporting the mattress to our shop for inspection/repair.
• Pickup/delivery service can be arranged for an additional fee.
• No admin or processing fee for claims that are covered by warranty.
How we measure sag (place photos/illustrations here)

Method:
1. Place a 6-inch (150 mm) straightedge across the mattress surface, resting on two stable points on either side of the indentation.
2. Measure vertically from the straightedge to the deepest point of the indentation.
3. If the depth is ≥ ¾ inch (≈ 19 mm) in the center third of the mattress, the indentation will be considered for warranty assessment.

When does the warranty start?
On the purchase date (receipt).
Is there a fee to file a claim?
No admin/processing fee for covered claims. Pickup/delivery is extra if requested.
What if I don’t have a receipt?
Warranty is valid only with proof of purchase from Sleepwell or an authorized retailer. Call 204-786-2225 to verify.
Do you replace mattresses with cash?
No — unrepairable mattresses receive prorated store credit only.
Is commercial use covered?
No, commercial or rental use is excluded.

Care & Maintenance
Good care helps prevent issues and supports warranty eligibility:
• Use a waterproof mattress protector from day one.
• Rotate every 3–6 months; if your model is flippable, flip it on the same schedule.
• Avoid sitting on the edge, jumping, or folding the mattress.
• Keep the mattress dry and free from stains and strong odors.
• Clean spills immediately per manufacturer or professional guidance; heavily soiled mattresses may be refused for inspection. -
What's not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
• Normal foam softening or impressions < ¾ inch
• Stains, spills, odors, burns, pet damage, or water/moisture damage
• Damage from improper support, misuse, jumping, or folding
• Cuts, tears, cosmetic wear or height variation due to normal use
• Mattresses purchased used or from unauthorized sellers
• Commercial/institutional use (hotels, rentals, childcare facilities, etc.)
• Accessories (pillows, frames, protectors) — contact those product manufacturers
Support system & accessories
Required support to maintain warranty:
• Flat platform, box spring, or slatted base with slats ≤ 3 inches (76 mm) apart.
• Broken or sagging bases can cause mattress damage and will void the warranty.
Accessories:
• Sleepwell warranty covers the mattress structure only. Accessories (pillows, mattress protectors, bases, frames, zip covers, adjustable base electronics) are covered by their respective manufacturers. Sleepwell does not cover accessories.
Return & Exchange Policy
All mattress sales are final due to hygiene and safety regulations. We do not accept returns or exchanges, even if unused.
Legal (short)
This warranty is governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and applicable federal laws of Canada.
