At Sleepwell Bedding, we take pride in the durability and comfort of our locally crafted mattresses. This page outlines our warranty coverage, care recommendations, comfort adjustment policy, and return terms.

  • Warranty Coverage

Each Sleepwell mattress includes a prorated manufacturer’s warranty, with the duration clearly stated on your original receipt:
    • Warranty periods may be 3, 5, or 10 years, depending on the product purchased.

    What’s covered:
    • Broken or loosened springs
    • Side stitching coming undone
    • Structural squeaking
    • Sagging greater than ¾ inch due to structural failure
Note: All foam will soften slightly over time as part of normal use. This is not a defect and is not covered under warranty.

  • Warranty Conditions & Claim Process

    To file a claim:
    1. You must be the original purchaser and present the original receipt
    2. The mattress label/tag must remain attached — removing it voids the warranty
    3. The product must be clean and free from stains, odours, or water damage
    4. The mattress must be used on a suitable, structurally sound support base (see below)
    5. Return the item to our warehouse for inspection. Pickup/delivery is available at an added charge

All repairs are performed by our in-house production team in Winnipeg.

  • Unrepairable Mattresses

If a mattress is determined to be unrepairable due to extensive damage or discontinued materials:

We may offer a replacement mattress of comparable quality, with cost adjustments based on the remaining warranty period.

  • Comfort Adjustment Guarantee

If, after two weeks of use, your mattress feels too soft or too firm, we offer a one-time free comfort adjustment. Just bring it back and we’ll modify it to better suit your needs.

Support System Requirements

To maintain your warranty, your mattress must be used on an appropriate support system, including:
• A flat, sturdy platform, box spring, or slatted base
• Slats must be no more than 3” apart and structurally sound
• A broken or sagging base can lead to premature mattress failure and will void the warranty

🛏️ For optimal performance, ensure your base provides even support across the entire surface of the mattress.

  • Mattress Protector Requirement

To keep your mattress clean and extend its life, we strongly recommend using a waterproof mattress protector.
    • Stains, spills, or odours can void your warranty — even if unrelated to the issue.
    • Protectors also help maintain hygiene and resale value over time.

  • What’s Not Covered

The warranty does not cover the following:
    • Normal foam softening over time
    • Sagging from sitting, jumping, or improper base support
    • Spills, stains, odours, or water damage
    • Damage from use beyond intended support or weight tolerances
    • Missing manufacturer tags or removed labels
    • Warranty claims by anyone other than the original purchaser

Inclusive Support Considerations

Our mattresses are designed for a broad range of body types and sleeping styles. For long-term performance:
• Use a suitable mattress model that matches your support needs
• Let us know if you prefer firmer support — we’re happy to recommend reinforced or heavy-duty options with no judgment

Excess pressure on standard mattresses may reduce performance and void the warranty.

Return & Exchange Policy

Due to health and hygiene regulations, all mattress sales are final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges, even for unused products.
